How many 12 by 24 in tiles cover a 12 by 10 ft room?
A 12 × 10 ft floor is 120 sq ft. With 10% waste it becomes 132 sq ft; 12 × 24 in tiles cover 2 sq ft each, so the minimum is 66 tiles.
How much extra tile should I buy for cuts and waste?
